Abstract: Recent work reported that Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) is seed-transmissible in tomato, contrary to previous belief. In this work, we explore whether TYLCV is also a seed-borne virus in another member of the Solanaceae family, the experimental host Nicotiana benthamiana.
