Clinical considerations of anticoagulation therapy for patients with atrial fibrillation
Abstract: Atrial fibrillation (AF) increases the risk of stroke. New anticoagulation agents have recently provided alternative and promising approaches. This paper reviews the current state of anticoagulation therapy in AF patients, focusing on various clinical scenarios and on comparisons, where possible, between western and eastern populations.
