Abstract:
The superconductor sample had periodic distribution of pinned region (with length of Lp) and unpinned region (with length of L−Lp) along the driving force direction. Numerical study on the influence of the distribution of pinning centers on pinning of the two-dimensional vortex system showed that the critical depinning force Fc, beyond which the vortex system begins to depin, increases with increase of Lp, indicating that the homogeneity of pinning centers helps to enhance the critical electric current of a superconductor. We found that the critical depinning force Fc depends logarithmically on L/Lp.
