Abstract: Poisoning is often characterized by the acute onset, rapid progress, or specific manifestations of pathological symptoms, such as pulmonary fibrosis due to paraquat poisoning or high mortality arising from dinitrophenol intoxication (Jiang et al., 2016; Wang et al., 2017; Feng et al., 2018; Lu, 2018; Xu and Lu, 2019). Unlike general poisoning, however, the manifestation of n-hexane intoxication is subacute, and its clinical symptoms are dormant, and thus the provision of a timely and correct diagnosis is often difficult.
